Position Overview: 

The Lead Salesforce Developer reports to the VP, Data Architecture to contribute to the company’s strategic goals, including automating processes and providing operational excellence. This position seeks out the best ways to improve processes and increase effectiveness through use of Salesforce and related technologies. This role is responsible for executing potential solutions for business operations and workflow and meeting the organizational goals. This person may also be asked to work individually or on a team to expand the organization’s capabilities and efficiencies involving process improvements, software, or organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing, testing, configuring, optimizing, documenting, & deploying Salesforce objects, Apex classes, Triggers, Visual force pages and integrating with in-house data warehouse using web services.
  • Develops and maintains CRM application for various workflows, approval processes and custom configurations.
  • Plans and coordinates rollouts with extended team members.
  • Provide support, maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolution for Salesforce issues and Salesforce quarterly releases.
  • Create Salesforce reports and dashboards based on business requests
  • Works closely with other team members and product owners to understand, document, and design Salesforce custom applications that satisfy requirements.
  • Helps resolve bugs and issues and contributes to quality assurance tasks.
  • Provides regular updates to leadership and committees related to tactical and strategic projects.
  • Acts independently, with senior team members, or as part of a team to provide knowledge, guidance, research, business process mapping and fact-finding expertise to define, design, and modify specifications and processes for complex information systems and business process. Participates in establishing system documentation standards and quality assurance methodologies for systems and applications.
  • Provides expertise and guidance to the user community.
  • Ability to wear multiple hats in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA or MS degree in Computer Science or related field of study. 
  • Salesforce Developer Certification
  • 8+ years of experience developing and maintaining Salesforce applications using Apex programming, Visualforce pages, Lightning components and Visual Flow
  • 8+ years working on web solutions (HTML, CSS, Javascript)
  • Working knowledge of Java and web services
  • Proficient with designing Salesforce objects, performance-optimizing Apex classes and create code in a multi-tenant architecture
  • Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Experience unit testing (test classes) and validating change sets
  • Agile methodologies
  • Salesforce CRM, Reports, Dashboards
  • Strong problem solving & troubleshooting skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently with little direction
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

What you will get in return:

The base salary for this role is in the range of ($133,171 - $194,437). You may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and an annual discretionary stock award, (dependent on date of hire) to be discussed during the initial phone interview. Base salary and total compensation package determined by the candidate's experience, knowledge, education, skills, performance, and abilities, as well as internal equity, company performance, and alignment with market data.
